The length specification includes the bayonet lock (= total length of the necklace).
The plastic is securely pinned in the bayonet.
The bayonet can be opened by pushing the two halves together and turning.

Our trailers have to be ordered separately. They can then be threaded onto the necklace.
All other plastic colors are also available on request.
